EverydayGames Chameleon Solitaire
Chameleon Rules
Odds of Winning
The odds of winning Chameleon Solitaire are 1 in 30.
Object of the Game
The object of the game is to build the "foundations" up in suit, starting with the value of the card displayed on the first (i.e. leftmost) foundation. The goal is to complete all four suits on the foundations, at which point the game is won.
Ranking of cards is continuous, i.e. an Ace may be played on a King in the foundations, then a Two may be played on the Ace.
To start the game, you may move a card from the tableau to the foundations, or from the reserve or stock to the tableau or foundations. To deal the stock cards, simply click on the card image in the "stock" box. Three cards will be dealt, if available. If only 1 or 2 cards remain in the stock, then only 1 or 2 cards, respectively, will be dealt.
Note that the tableau is built in descending value order, regardless of suit. For example, the Seven of Hearts may be played on the Eight of Diamonds. Cards are moved from the tableau to the foundations one at a time. Cards may be moved within the tableau. Descending sequences of cards in alternating color order may be moved as a group.
Scoring
Score 10 points for moving a card from the tableau, stock or reserve to the foundations. Score 5 points for moving a card from the reserve or stock to the tableau. Note that you'll lose 15 points for moving a card from the foundations back to the tableau. There may, however, be situations when this move allows you to continue the game.
Sound
Sound may be turned off by unchecking the "Sound" checkbox.
