EverydayGames Spider Solitaire
Spider Solitaire Rules
Object of the Game
The object of the game is to arrange cards in descending same-suit sequences from King to Ace. Aces are always low. Once all 13 cards of a same-suit sequence are in proper descending order, all 13 cards may be dragged to one of the boxes at the top of the screen and dropped. The player is alerted by a chime (if sound is on) and message at the bottom of the board when a descending same-suit sequence is ready to be removed.
Game Play
If at any time you don't have a move in the tableau, there are 50 additional cards that may be played 10 at a time by clicking the card images in the upper left corner of the game. Clicking the top, rightmost card will deal a row of 10 cards on top of the cards in the tableau. There are 5 additional deals available, and when these have been exhausted, you will no longer see any cards in the upper left corner of the game.
Scoring
Player is granted 500 points at the start of the game. One point is deducted every time the player makes a move. In addition, the player is also granted a 750 point time bonus, which decreases 1 point for every second of elapsed time, until it reaches zero. The time bonus does not go below zero. Each descending same-suit sequence removed from the board increases the player's score by 100.
Posting a Score
Players may post their winning time and score after the game has been won. To post a winning time, you must be logged in prior to starting the game. If your time is in the top 10 for the day, you will see it immediately. If your time is not in the top 10, you may see it on the EverydayGames Global Online Live Scoring page.
Note: You must post your score before you click 'New Game'.
